For an embarrassingly long time now (nine months and counting), I have been on the hunt for a new pair of glasses. I am absolutely taken by the super geeked out look, but I can't seem to find any frames that fit what I am looking for. When it comes to geek-chic, it seems to me that you have to either go big or go home. I'm trying to go big, but I can't find anything big enough. The closest I've come so far to the frame I am dying for in my mind is the "Deacon" frame by Oliver Peoples, but even that frame isn't quite as big and thick as I'd like. I'm enticed by the idea of doing something colorful for an even bolder statement. I've even toyed with the idea of buying super cheap frames from Forever 21 or Urban Outfitters and then getting them fitted for lenses. Hopefully, I will be able to make up my mind soon, because my eyes are constantly burning from contact lens overuse, an apparent side-effect of perpetual procrastination due to my annoying inability to make decisions......
